Toyota Awards $6.5 Million in Grants to East Central ISD

The Toyota USA Foundation is investing up to $6.5 million in grants over five years to East Central ISD to fund STEM, family engagement, and career readiness programs.

As part of Toyota’s Driving Possibilities initiative, these funds will give students and teachers access to new, innovative tools, provide more community engagement opportunities for families, and forge individualized paths to career success.

With the Toyota grants, ECISD schools will build cutting-edge STEM programs and provide valuable experiential learning opportunities to students. To support these efforts, teachers will receive mentorship, professional development, and coaching tools for confident and knowledgeable STEM instruction.

Additionally, East Central ISD families will have access to the Family Resource Center, a new program to be launched in partnership with United Way.
