Temporary Road Closure in Converse

The following information is from The City of Converse, TX:

Rocket Lane Closure (Temporary)

August 1 – 13, 2024

Reopening August 14 (First day of school) – The City has met with the district, and they fully support this closure. 

Detours:

Copperfield residents will use Lower Seguin Road to Loop 1604. 

Miramar residents and Boysville, Inc. will use Loop 1604 exits. 

Businesses on Thornton Lane will use Lower Seguin Road to Loop 1604.

Animal Shelter, Judson Middle School and San Antonio River Authority will use Schaeffer Road to FM 1516.

Norris Dr. will be open. 

We understand that this has been a frustrating process for everyone involved. This closure is necessary to install water lines before the start of the school year. We apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause. But this is absolutely necessary.
