Converse Public Library Receives Library Excellence Award

The Converse Public Library recently received the 2024 Achievement of Library Excellence Award, an honor given to Texas libraries that go above and beyond to serve the community.
The Converse Public Library was recognized for its efforts in a variety of areas, including providing literacy support, promoting cultural and educational programming, providing services to underserved populations, and many more.
Popular initiatives at the Converse Library include its anime program for teens and adults and its outreach program that delivers books and other reading materials to homebound residents.
